Due Thursday, 6/2:  Read Chapters 5 and 6 in Animal Farm.  Be prepared to answer questions/take a quiz in class.

Due Friday, 6/3:  Quiz on A Doll’s House Vocabulary List.  Read Chapter 7 in Animal Farm.  In class read Chapter 8.

Due Monday, 6/6:  Finish reading Animal Farm.  Be prepared for writing and/or quiz on the book. 

 Due Tuesday, 6/7:  Grammar work on colons and semicolons.  Final book club review.

Due Thursday6/9:  Final Exam Review

World Lit Seminar

WORLD LIT SEMINAR FINAL PAPER:  DUE NO LATER THAN JUNE 3rd

Submit final paper to turnitin.com by 2:30 PM.  1)  Hand in by the beginning of class on Friday, June 3rd:  2 copies of your final draft including Works Cited page and Works Consulted pages; Your rough drafts (including draftsmarked by teachers);  All journal entries (12)

 2)  During class on Friday, write a brief reflection piece and complete book information and recommendation sheets

English 10

For Friday, May 27th–Come to class prepared for The Doll’s House Debate.  Bring notes and ideas for support for both sides of the question,” Was Nora right in her decision at the end of the play?”  When you get to class, you will be assigned to speak for or against Nora’s decision.

For Tuesday, May 31st–Read Chapters 1 and 2 in Animal Farm.  Write answers to questions on those chapters.

World Lit Seminar

Due Friday, May 27th:  Complete rough draft including Works Cited page should be turned in by the end of the class period.  Please unerline or highlight your thesis statement or exploratory question.  Those not in school should email the draft.

Due Firday, June 3rd–Final paper!

Due Thursday, May 19th:  Bring a hard copy and an electronic copy of the rough draft of your Macbeth paper to the B-212 lab for in-class editing.

Due Friday, May 20th:  For the beginning of class today–Bring the final draft, rough draft, and editing sheet of your paper to class.  Turn the paper in to turnitin.com before class.

mac paper11  For Friday, May 13th:  Come to class with freewrite on the metaphor you  have chosen for your paper on Macbeth.  The freewrite needs to be printed before class.
