By the end of class on January 4, 2012:  Finish reading week number 4.

By the end of class on January 12, 2012:  Finish reading week number 5 and hand in 3 journal entries covering reading done in weeks 4 and 5.

For Monday, November 28th– Be prepared to work on final project with book group.  Choose independent reading book.  Bring independent reading selection to class.

For Monday, November 21st–FINAL JOURNAL ENTRY ON BOOK CLUB BOOK:  Write a 2 page (double spaced) journal entry

First, describing your reaction to the book.  Support your reaction with reasons.

Secondly, respond to prompts from the Topical or the Social Sticky Note Bookmarks.

Finally, end your journal entry with 2 questions for discussions that are raised by the book.

Be prepared forvideo taping of  book club discussion.
